What_It_Is
Fieldwatch (by OffGridPete) turns an ordinary Android phone into a
receive-only Wi-Fi access-point and Bluetooth LE observer. It only listens — no transmissions,
no account, no backend server, no ads. Everything stays on the phone and it works fully offline in the field.
What it does:
› Identifies nearby wireless devices by signature matching — tracker tags, body cameras, drones, in-car Wi-Fi, Flock cameras & more
› Filtering engine so you only see the radios you care about — tune out the noise
› Alerts when a specific device type or address shows up, or looks like it is moving with you
› Session recording — log a place or a drive, compare against later visits
› Extensible signature library you can edit in the app
› Exportable reports of everything observed
Requires Android 10+ (API 29). Sideload the APK — it is not on the Play Store and does not self-update.
Package: app.fieldwatch. License: MIT.
